Kindergarten Teacher Opportunity

The Nelson Waldorf School is seeking a qualified Kindergarten teacher to join our faculty. As a Waldorf educator, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive curriculum that integrates BC Ministry requirements and Waldorf principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of students aged 5-6 years old.
  • Report on student progress according to Faculty agreements and BC Ministry requirements.
  • Abide by BC Independent School teacher conduct and competence standards.
  • Lead class parent conferences and maintain open communication with parents.

Requirements:

  • BC Teacher Certification
  • Completed Waldorf Teacher Training or willingness to take the training
