About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Caseworker to join our team at AmerisourceBergen. As a Caseworker, you will play a critical role in supporting patients and healthcare professionals in accessing necessary medications and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned projects and cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Provide telephone support to patients, healthcare professionals, and funding bodies, addressing funding and access issues, compliance programs, and other concerns.
  • Administer and adhere to case-management protocols, including clinical monitoring, data collection, patient follow-up, and liaison with primary healthcare providers.
  • Implement pharmaceutical and biotechnology-related market research initiatives with physicians, patients, pharmacists, or other allied health professionals.
  • Document all activities in program-specific databases and participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
  • Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations, typically obtained through completion of a two-year associate's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in customer service, with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook, with experience in the medical and pharmaceutical field being an asset.
