Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Chef Abod Cafe and Catering. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Training: Train and supervise staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient meal preparation and minimize waste.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and addressing customer complaints.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports on stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules to meet business needs and ensure adequate staffing.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant or catering firm environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.

  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
