Job Summary:

The University of Waterloo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Student Systems Integration and Special Projects Manager to join our team. This is a critical leadership role that requires a strong understanding of student systems, project management, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic oversight and management of the UWaterloo Portal, ensuring it aligns with the University's strategic priorities and goals.
  • Lead and manage projects across the APS portfolio, from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive community management strategy to engage students and enhance their experience.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of current trends and best practices in student engagement and communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or diploma in program/project management.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technology project or project management role, preferably in higher education.
  • Experience in engaging internal and external stakeholders, building consensus, and managing competing priorities.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodology.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office suite, email marketing campaign platforms, web content management systems, and social media platforms.
