Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing assemblies, preventative maintenance, repairs, and complete overhauls on heavy equipment.

You will diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized or other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required. You will also make recommendations regarding the extent of repairs and suggest methods of improvement.

Additionally, you will think logically and keep up with changes in technology, interpret work orders and technical manuals, and complete job-specific reports and paperwork as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification and a strong commitment to safety.

Experience in repair/maintenance of heavy equipment and strong written and verbal communication skills are also essential.

Some positions may require the ability to travel and meet customer site requirements, and experience with Komatsu equipment is considered an asset.
