Job Summary

Rainforces Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Construction Site Technician to join our team. This role will involve providing support to our construction team, ensuring the smooth execution of projects.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials as required by the project team.
  • Clean and maintain heavy equipment, including cranes, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Assist in instructing apprentices as needed to promote knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Support medical professionals during site visits to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, following safety guidelines.
  • Participate in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, working collaboratively with the project team.
  • Ensure earth is leveled to fine grade specifications, maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Pave and rake asphalt, ensuring a smooth surface.
  • Contribute to the demolition of buildings, adhering to safety procedures.
  • Organize and clean salvaged materials, prioritizing waste management.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Respond to chemical spills and other contaminants, following established protocols.
  • Remove rubble and debris from construction sites, maintaining a safe working environment.
