Job Summary:

The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for handling purchase order entry and supply chain tracking, acting as a vital link between supply and demand. This role will engage with both local and international suppliers to manage pricing and deliveries, ensuring smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate creation and submission of purchase orders based on demand
  • Maintaining precision in purchase order details and coordinating with suppliers
  • Resolving discrepancies, managing supplier invoices, and price lists
  • Evaluating purchasing trends and preparing reports

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Purchasing and administrative skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Experience as a purchasing agent in the public sector is a plus
