About the Role

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at CIBC. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will provide administrative support to our Investment Advisors, ensuring the smooth operation of our brokerage division. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining compliance standards, conducting administrative activities, and engaging in marketing and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide administrative support to Investment Advisors, including maintaining client files and conducting administrative activities.
- Engage in marketing and business development activities to promote our services and products.
- Assist in the development of investment plans and written proposals for prospects and clients.

Requirements

- Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study.
- Minimum of one year of administrative experience, preferably in finance.
- Completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Conduct & Practice Handbook (CPH), or willing to obtain within 6-12 months of hire.
