Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care to join our team at Mills Memorial Hospital. As a member of our Acute Care Unit, you will provide and coordinate nursing care to assigned patients, consistent with current standards of nursing practice and the clinical specialty of Medical Surgical, maternity & pediatric nursing.
Responsibilities- Provide and coordinate nursing care to assigned patients, consistent with current standards of nursing practice and the clinical specialty of Medical Surgical, maternity & pediatric nursing.
- Practice as a member of the Acute Care Unit nursing team.
- Operate related equipment and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Organize work and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of patients and the team.
- Deal with others effectively, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Medical and surgical nursing experience required, with pediatric, neonatal, maternity nursing experience preferred.
