Are you enthusiastic about the nursing profession? We have an opportunity for you We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner committed to providing empathetic patient care to become a part of our team at Northern Health Authority.
This role involves delivering and coordinating nursing services in accordance with contemporary nursing standards and the Clinical Specialty of Critical Care & Emergency Nursing.
Prior clinical experience in Emergency settings is essential.Work Schedule: Rotating shifts, including Days and Nights - 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00

- Any supporting documents related to your qualifications for this position
Examples may include:
- Certificates or diplomas from relevant programs
- Academic transcripts
- A cover letter and resume are also recommended
- Registration with the appropriate nursing regulatory body as a practicing RN.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in medical/surgical nursing and/or a Post Diploma Certificate in Critical Care and/or Emergency Nursing, or a combination of relevant experience and training. Candidates without formal training in Emergency/Critical Care will be expected to enroll in a course within six months of employment.
- Current CPR (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain within one year.
- Proficiency in managing equipment necessary for patient care in critical and acute care settings.
- Physical capability to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with others.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to assist in the orientation of new staff members.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
