Truck Dispatcher

We are seeking a skilled Truck Dispatcher to join our team at Canada inc O/A Deedar Transportation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining work records and logs, assisting with maintenance of communications equipment, and dispatching personnel according to schedules and work orders.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date work records and logs
- Assist with the maintenance of communications equipment to ensure seamless operations
- Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods
- Respond to emergency situations by dispatching personnel as required
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays
- Stay up-to-date with cross-border dispatching regulations and practices
- Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations is essential
- Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses accurately
- Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and practices
