About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced instructor to join our Construction Engineering Technology program at NAIT. As a professor in this field, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting classes in classroom and lab settings, organizing and supervising practical student assignments, and conducting student evaluation and maintaining progress records.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver curriculum for Construction Engineering Technology courses
- Prepare and present classes in classroom and lab settings
- Organize and supervise practical student assignments
- Conduct student evaluation and maintain progress records
- Seek feedback from students on instruction
- Participate in course reviews, program reviews, and curriculum development
- Maintain contact with relevant industry and professional associations
- Participate in program events such as Bridge Building, Industry Night, Student Club, etc.
Requirements
- Graduate or Undergraduate degree in Architecture or Engineering (Construction/Civil or a related area)
- Diploma in Construction Engineering or Architectural Technology from a recognized Technical Institute
- Eligibility for registration with APEGA, ASET, or AAA is an asset
