Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

Estimate and Manage Inventory

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.

Ensure Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to prevent any issues from arising.

Address Customer Complaints

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve any issues promptly.

Prepare and Submit Reports

Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback, and use this information to inform business decisions.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role is required.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.

Knowledge

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.

Working Conditions

This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and the ability to work in a physically demanding role is required.
