Key Responsibilities- Program Administration: Guide and support Program Directors to ensure the efficient administration of assigned programs, including tracking teaching coverage and managing clinical schedules.
- Enrollment Management: Oversee the enrollment process for courses, providing front-line service and information for current and potential students.
- Room Scheduling: Negotiate and secure rooms for all sections of undergraduate courses and seminar programs, ensuring that the rooms reserved meet enrollment needs.
- Job Postings and Exam Logistics: Prepare necessary information for job postings for part-time teaching and manage exam logistics.
- Seminar Program Management: Responsible for all seminar programs, including managing budgets and tracking student attendance.
- Event Planning: Plan and coordinate Research Days, Orientation, and other events, providing data and support for supervisors and managers.
- Process Improvement: Work in collaboration with other Specialists to design and implement new or modify existing work methods.
- Academic Data Management: Responsible for gathering academic data in preparation for cyclical reviews and accreditation.
- Education: University degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
- Knowledge and Experience: Thorough knowledge of postsecondary programs, academic regulations, and university services. Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Demonstrated commitment to client service and strong interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong analytical skills for compiling and analyzing information and data.
