Job Summary

This part-time regular position at North York General Hospital offers a dynamic work environment in the Orthopaedic Surgery department. Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Orthopaedic Surgery department, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring timely and efficient documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, fostering a culture of transparency and respect.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical knowledge and skills, staying current with best practices in orthopaedic nursing.
Requirements
  • Registered Practical Nursing diploma from a recognized Community College.
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • One year recent acute orthopaedics and general surgery experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary
