Job Title: Skilled Drywall Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled drywall installation specialist to join our team at Shoreline Drywall Ltd. This is a permanent, full-time position with an estimated salary of $55,000 per year.

Job Description:About the Role

This role involves applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints, as well as cutting and installing metal corner beads to protect exterior corners. You will also be responsible for fabricating and installing suspended metal ceiling grids and placing in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.

You will measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, position and secure them to metal or wooden studs or joists, and smooth out excess compound and allow it to dry. Additionally, you will tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.

The ideal candidate will have experience working at heights, in dusty environments, and with noisy equipment. They must also be physically demanding and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
