Job Summary

This is a full-time position responsible for installing drywall sheets, cutting and fitting them to meet specific requirements, and applying successive coats of compound to achieve a smooth finish. The ideal candidate will possess excellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets according to plans and specifications
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in drywall installation or related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work at heights, handle heavy loads, and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Work Environment

This role involves working on-site, with no option for remote work. The physical location will vary, and the work site environment may include dusty, noisy, and at-heights conditions.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
