Equine Veterinary Care Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at The Stables Equine Practice in Wells. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care to horses and ponies, with a focus on diagnostic examinations and treatments.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' clinical experience, including ambulatory experience and the ability to work independently. They will also have excellent organizational skills, good interpersonal skills, and a flexible approach to work. A clean driving licence and availability to work between 8am - 7:30pm weekdays are essential.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Performing medical and surgical diagnoses, treatments, and procedures to the standards expected by the RCVS
  • Contributing to the growth of the practice through excellent customer and patient care
  • Providing clinical teaching and supervision to undergraduate students as needed
  • Recording case records within the appropriate timescale

In return, we offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
