Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Research Consultant to join our team on a contract basis for a high-profile project. The selected consultant will be responsible for conducting qualitative research through interviews with key stakeholders across various industries and developing compelling case studies to showcase the region's business advantages.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct qualitative research and interviews with executives and key stakeholders from strategic and international companies based in the region.
- Develop detailed case studies that highlight the business advantages and success stories across sectors such as Agritech, Life Sciences, Digital Media, and more.
- Collaborate with the project team to design interview questions and coordinate research efforts.
- Synthesize data from interviews and additional research to provide insights into the companies' decision-making processes and the region's role in their success.
- Deliver professional, high-quality case studies in both written and presentation formats.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of all research and written content.
- Work efficiently within the project timeline to meet all deadlines for deliverables.
- Proven experience in qualitative research, particularly conducting interviews and converting data into case studies or reports.
- Background in working with companies across sectors like Agritech, Digital Media, Life Sciences, or related industries.
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to produce engaging and insightful case studies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Experience in economic development, business research, or investment projects is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Master's degree in Sociology, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience collaborating with government or public sector organizations.
- Familiarity with key industries in the Vancouver region and understanding of the competitive advantages is a bonus.
