Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at 2467980 Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service department, ensuring that all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that all necessary ingredients and supplies are available to meet customer demand.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that all staff are trained in proper sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparers and counter attendants.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including inventory levels, sales, and wastage. Prepare budget and cost estimates for food service operations.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, and that all staff are trained in proper food handling and preparation procedures.
  • Staff Management: Hire and train food service staff, including food preparers and counter attendants.
  • Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure that all staff are adequately staffed to meet customer demand.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service operations.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
