Job Title: Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Manager to join our team at 2467980 Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and maintain inventory of food and supplies
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed in the kitchen and dining areas
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all customers receive a positive experience
  • Train and supervise staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and ensure that all orders are accurate and complete
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed on time
  • Establish work schedules for staff and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling
