Food Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Store Supervisor to join our team at 2656578 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our retail management team.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Manage Staff: Lead and direct a team of 11-15 employees, including cashiers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks, to ensure excellent customer service and efficient store operations.
- Merchandising and Visual Displays: Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and improve store appearance, including window displays and visual merchandising.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing stockouts.
- Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming store environment, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other department managers to achieve business objectives and promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role, or equivalent experience.
- Language: English.
- Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work, and willingness to relocate for this position.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods. A combination of sitting, standing, and walking is required, as well as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
