The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a District Operations Coordinator at H&R Block. As a key member of our district retail offices, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our District Managers and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail locations.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Assist District Managers with daily operations, including managing office schedules and staffing levels.
  • Travel to various office locations to provide training and support to staff, ensuring excellent client standards and compliance with company policies.
  • Recruit, interview, and onboard new talent, ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
  • Monitor and adjust office and staffing schedules as necessary to meet business needs.
  • Coordinate the setup and shutdown of assigned offices, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Support the planning and execution of training and development initiatives, driving business growth and employee development.
  • Maintain asset management inventory, process invoice payments, and manage petty cash, ensuring accurate and timely financial management.
  • Ensure compliance with H&R Block policies, procedures, and relevant employment and privacy legislation.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail or a similar customer-oriented industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to set up workstation computers and work with various software packages.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel regularly to multiple district offices, with a valid driver's license, insurance, vehicle registration, and a reliable vehicle.

The hourly rate for this position is $21.00. Please note that hourly positions are not eligible for the Company's benefit plan.
