About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to fill the position of Indigenous Student Advocate Leader. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in promoting the interests and well-being of Indigenous students and contributing to a more inclusive and equitable campus community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for the rights and interests of Indigenous students
  • Develop and implement programs and services that support Indigenous student success
  • Build relationships with faculty members, administrators, and other stakeholders to advance Indigenous student interests
  • Collaborate with other ASUS representatives to achieve common goals

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Familiarity with Indigenous cultures and histories
