Salary Range: $63,300-$75,900 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Overview:** As an AML Compliance Investigator with Coast Capital Savings, you'll play a critical role in detecting and preventing money laundering and terrorist financing activities. You'll work closely with our Financial Intelligence Unit to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:**
- Conduct thorough investigations into suspicious account activity, gathering and analyzing evidence to support your findings.
- Collaborate with branch staff and other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies and industry partners.
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry trends, ensuring our compliance program remains effective and efficient.
- Provide training and guidance to colleagues on AML/ATF best practices and procedures.
About You:*
- You have at least 4 years of experience in a related field, preferably in financial services or law enforcement.
- You hold a high school diploma and additional post-secondary courses, such as those related to law enforcement or criminology.
- You possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You're proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis software, with experience using database management systems a plus.
