**Job Summary**
Giant Tiger is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Hardgoods Supervisor to join our team in Shawinigan-Sud. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and driving sales growth through effective inventory management and visual merchandising.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage and maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area, stockrooms, and sales floors.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accurate stock levels and prevent losses.
- Develop and implement visual merchandising plans to drive sales and improve store appearance.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and improve customer engagement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols and loss prevention measures.
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Ability to lift and move up to 18 kg (40 lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
