About the RoleThe Operations Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food preparation staff, training new employees on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule Management: Develop and implement effective scheduling systems to meet customer demand while minimizing labor costs.
- Staff Supervision: Directly supervise 16-20 employees, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
- Training and Development: Provide comprehensive training to new employees on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of quality control, including food handling, preparation, and presentation.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with safe food handling practices and certification preferred.
