We are seeking a highly skilled Facility Operations Supervisor to join our Conversions Team. This is a part-time role that offers a unique blend of supervisory experience and operational responsibilities.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will oversee arena conversions and event operations, ensuring seamless execution of daily events, including managing checklists, creating task lists, hosting shift briefings, and responding to facility labor requests.

You will be responsible for learning and understanding detail-oriented manual labor procedures in a fast-paced environment, overseeing third-party vendors, preventative maintenance contracts, long-term planning, shipping logistics, and human resource activities.

This role also involves supporting the inventory management process, coordinating and communicating with other department supervisors, and implementing standard operating procedures focused on the long-term success of the venues and mechanical equipment.

What You'll Need:

  • Proven supervisory experience in production, general labor, or event coordination, preferably in a large multi-purpose arena, convention center, or operation
  • Able to work overnight/holidays/weekends shifts and respect a work-life balance
  • Strong demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to multitask, handle several projects simultaneously, and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Experience supervising in a unionized environment and weighing decisions with consideration to a collective bargaining agreement and Employment Standards Act
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

What We Offer:
