Job Title: Information Security Auditor

Job Summary:

This role involves working with clients to assess their information security posture against industry standards and frameworks. The successful candidate will ensure clients meet compliance requirements and provide guidance on improving their security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver information security audit assignments
  • Define the scope for information security audit assignments
  • Develop and quality assure security audit reports
  • Travel to client locations and other offices
  • Collaborate with clients to develop remediation plans
  • Work with colleagues to support client needs for information security services
  • Maintain and improve standard operating procedures
  • Achieve and maintain professional certifications
  • Research best practices and trends in information security
  • Provide exceptional service to clients

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • ISACA CISA certification
  • Strong understanding of Linux, Windows, and network security
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality reports
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team
  • Minimum 5 years of information security experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ISO27001 Lead Auditor, PCI QSA, ISACA CISM, SANS certifications
  • Deep understanding of information security program development and key concepts
  • In-depth experience designing and implementing information security solutions
  • Understanding of information security frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001:2022, COBIT, NIST CSF

Travel and Location:

Must be able to travel. Location: Moncton NB or Halifax NS.
