Position Title: Airport Security Officer

Role Overview:
As an Airport Security Officer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and security of passengers, employees, and flight crews within the airport environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing the Primary Security Line (PSL) at various entry points to guarantee controlled access to restricted areas.
  • Conducting continuous surveillance of terminal spaces and surrounding areas to identify safety risks and unusual activities.
  • Upholding Transport Canada regulations for all airport tenants and visitors.
  • Performing regular patrols of the facility to maintain security protocols.
  • Responding to emergencies and coordinating with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) as needed.
Opportunities for Growth: We offer training programs for advancement into roles within the Security Operations Centre and Patrol.

Qualifications:
  • Proficient English communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and customer service orientation.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure while managing confidential information.
  • A valid Driver's License and First Aid & CPR certification are mandatory.
Compensation:
AVSEC training: $15.20
On-the-job training: $17.20
Full responsibilities: $21.53
