Job Summary:
As a Junior Estimator at Amico, you will play a crucial role in providing hospital headwall designs and estimates to clients. Your responsibilities will include creating presentation drawings, estimating project pricing, and reviewing drawing details with the engineering team. You will also be responsible for preparing and reviewing documents, working with site codes and regulations, and flagging potential issues. If you have a background in Architecture or Engineering and experience with software such as AutoCAD and Microvellum, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Design hospital headwalls as per client requests using CAD workstations.
  • Create and update presentation drawings and quotations for hospital headwalls and architectural casework.
  • Estimate project pricing based on architectural plans and specifications.
  • Review and complete documents and submittal packages for faster project movement.
  • Work with site codes and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Flag potential issues and provide solutions to the sales and engineering teams.
  • Prepare estimates for clients to help them plan their budget.

Requirements:
  • Background in Architecture or Engineering.
  • Experience with software such as AutoCAD, Blue-Beam, and Microvellum.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in quantity take off and estimation.
