Role Summary

The Clinical Pharmacist will report to the Director of Pharmacy Services and be responsible for drug distribution and clinical pharmacy services. This includes providing drug information to physicians and other healthcare staff, ensuring safe medication management, and practicing pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide drug information to physicians, nursing staff, and other paramedical staff
  2. Ensure safe medication management and practice pharmaceutical care
  3. Report to the Director of Pharmacy Services

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree
  • Licensed (Part A) Pharmacist in the Province of Ontario
  • Experience in a computerized inpatient hospital pharmacy environment preferred
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and time-management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment
