Responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure all are kept up to date with relevant training and feedback is taken into account
  • Organizing, developing, reviewing, and delivery of training to agreed timescales
  • Preparing proposals for developing training, attending internal meetings, and developing a network of contacts
  • Managing/co-managing a limited portfolio of audit clients to maintain knowledge and experience of current practices and issues

Key qualifications include:

  • Qualified by experience (ACA, CA, ACCA) with significant external audit experience gained within a professional services environment
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, industry specifics, and their application
  • Good working knowledge of skill requirements of staff at various levels to ensure work is undertaken by appropriate individual
  • Very good communication skills to liaise with all stakeholders
