Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate the development and implementation of quality policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient Quality Control laboratory operations, including maintaining physical and digital filing systems, updating records, and preparing documentation for each job.
- Collaborate with the Quality Control Manager to develop and maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment needed for Quality Control laboratory operations.

Quality Management System Implementation:

- Implement the Quality Management System on project sites and provide training to site teams on new or updated quality procedures.
- Manage the QC team, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to ensure effective quality control processes are in place.
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Radiation Safety Officer Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily aspects of the Radiation Protection Program, ensuring compliance with CNSC regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary contact with the CNSC for licensing and compliance matters, ensuring timely submission of license renewal requests and amendment documents.
- Manage and control radiation safety for licensed activities, conducting quarterly physical inventories for all sealed sources (gauges).

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a construction environment involving quality assurance, with expertise in conducting quality audits and knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
- Proficiency in computer programs, including Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
