Senior Contract Analyst Opportunity

The Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Analyst to join our Contract Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving our business processes, systems, and data to ensure the effective management of contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business needs and user requirements to identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements.
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve contract management operations, including the design and development of new systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide recommendations for contract management systems and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain reports and visual analysis tools to support contract management business teams.
Requirements:
  • 4-year university degree in a business, engineering, information systems, or related discipline.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, process management, systems analysis, or related areas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present findings to groups and mentor peers.
  • Knowledge of the Ontario electricity sector and regulatory environment is an asset.
