The Role: Assistant Manager, PPSA Administration
We're seeking a skilled and motivated leader to oversee PPSA administration. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, be a good communicator and team builder, and be committed to excellence. As an Assistant Manager, you will direct supervise, coach, and mentor a team of five PPSA administrators, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and accuracy in PPSA-related processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directly supervise, coach, and mentor a team of five PPSA administrators.
  • Coach team members navigate challenges and uncertainties, providing guidance and support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive working environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and personal growth.
  • Communicate job expectations, supervise and review job contributions. Acknowledge and reward employees.
  • Coach and lead employees, monitoring and managing performance, develop performance plans, set and review goals on an individual basis, and coach employees on their career development.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new employees and the employee hiring process.
  • Oversight the end-to-end process for PPSA registrations, renewals, amendments, and discharges.
  • Ensure all filings are accurate, timely, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on PPSA legislation and ensure the team adheres to all regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of all PPSA activities.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience managing or supervising a team. A post-secondary education in business administration, finance, or a related field is also required. Excellent proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Office is essential. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team are necessary. The ability to guide team members through uncertainty and foster resilience is also required.
