Heavy Duty Mechanic Job Description

Sasquatch Mountain Resort is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, safety, and longevity of our heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment performance and safety
  • Dismantle and inspect components for excessive wear or damage
  • Repair, replace, clean, and lubricate parts as necessary
  • Maintain and calibrate vehicle electrical systems
  • Monitor hydraulic systems for fluid leaks and calibrate or replace components when necessary

Requirements:

  • Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic's ticket
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and heavy industrial equipment
  • Previous experience working with Prinoth snow cats and snowmobiles
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics
  • Valid driver's license
