Computer Systems Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Systems Technician to join our team at TecDale Group inc. as a Technical Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to our clients, ensuring that their computer systems and software are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Respond to clients experiencing difficulties with their computer systems, providing timely and effective solutions to resolve their issues.
- Problem-Solving: Consult technical manuals, user guides, and other documents to research and implement solutions to complex technical problems.
- Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to clients on how to use their computer systems and software, ensuring they have the necessary skills to operate efficiently.
- Log Maintenance: Collect, organize, and maintain a log of problems and solutions for use by other technical support analysts.
- Application Redesign: Participate in the redesign of applications and software to improve their functionality and user experience.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor other technical support team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities.
- Business Systems Support: Provide support for business systems, networks, and internet services, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Equipment Setup: Set up computer equipment for clients, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
- Skills: Excellent technical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, working under pressure, and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, initiative, judgment, organized, team player, ability to multitask, and time management.
