Job Summary

Fergus Esso is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Store Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing sales staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales staff to duties and provide guidance on sales strategies
  • Authorize payments and manage cash handling procedures
  • Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels
  • Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of sales staff and office volunteers
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in retail management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Accurate and organized with a focus on customer satisfaction
