Wound Care LPN Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Classic LifeCare in Vancouver, BC. As a Wound Care LPN, you will play a vital role in providing expert wound care services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform wound assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the nursing team.
  • Provide follow-up care to clients in their homes, adhering to best practice standards.
  • Utilize wound care tools and supplies provided by the company.
  • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by the company.
Qualifications:
  • Current LPN license in British Columbia.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Completion of Criminal Record Check.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation within the Greater Vancouver area.
  • Experience with wound care is an asset, but not required. Willingness to learn and develop wound care skills is ideal.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with healthcare professionals, client's family members, and relevant organizations.
  • Great technical skills to ensure accurate and timely completion of client care documentation using our online systems.
