Job Title: Floorhand - Oil and Gas Drilling

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Floorhand to join our team at Precision Drilling Canada Limited Partnership.

Job Summary:

The Floorhand will be responsible for assisting in the drilling and service operations on our rigs. This includes handling and moving drill pipes, tools, and other materials, as well as cleaning up rig areas and assisting in the setup and takedown of drilling and service equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the drilling and service operations on our rigs
  • Handle and move drill pipes, tools, and other materials
  • Clean up rig areas
  • Assist in the setup and takedown of drilling and service equipment
  • Drive trucks to transport materials and well service equipment
Requirements:
  • Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA) basic safety orientation (BSO)
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate
  • Rig Worker Fall Protection
  • Standard First Aid Certificate
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding conditions. They will also be required to work outdoors in confined spaces, with exposure to wet/damp conditions, odours, and hot temperatures.
