Job Title: Floorhand - Oil and Gas Drilling

We are seeking a skilled Floorhand to join our team at Precision Drilling Canada Limited Partnership. As a Floorhand, you will play a crucial role in the drilling process, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rigs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manipulate sections of pipes or drill stems at the rig floor during drilling and removal and replacement of pipes, drill stems, and drill bits.
  • Handle, sort, and move drill pipes, tools, cement, and other materials.
  • Clean up rig areas and assist in setting up, taking down, and transporting drilling and service rigs and service equipment.
  • Drive trucks to transport materials and well service equipment.
Requirements:
  • Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA) basic safety orientation (BSO) certification.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate.
  • Rig Worker Fall Protection certification.
  • Standard First Aid Certificate.
Work Environment:

As a Floorhand, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding conditions. You will be required to work outdoors, in confined spaces, and in areas with hazardous materials.
