Job Title: Pipeline Integrity Specialist

Raise is seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Integrity Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Pipeline Integrity team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in pipeline class assessment and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive pipeline class assessments to evaluate the integrity and safety of pipeline systems.
  2. Participate in class studies and regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  3. Contribute to the scoping and initiation of pipeline modification projects, providing technical expertise and recommendations.
  4. Prepare and authenticate class studies and engineering justifications for submission to regulatory bodies.
  5. Apply a deep understanding of applicable Canadian codes and standards to ensure the safe and efficient operation of pipeline systems.
  6. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in pipeline engineering to maintain technical proficiency.
Requirements:
  1. 5 years of experience in the pipeline industry, with a focus on pipeline class assessment and analysis.
  2. Strong knowledge of Canadian codes and standards related to pipeline design, construction, and operation (e.g., CSA Z66, ASME B31.8, etc.).
  3. Proficiency in engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Excel, Word, etc.).
  4. Experience with pipeline integrity management systems (PIMS).
  5. Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and tools.
  6. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and processes in Canada.
  7. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
  8. P.Eng registered with APEGA (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta).
  9. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  12. Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
