Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop avionics systems that meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead the integration of hardware and software components into a cohesive system.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate system performance, reliability, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and test reports.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide technical support.
  • Contribute to project planning, tracking, and reporting to ensure timely delivery of systems within budget.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system design and development processes.
  • Ensure that all systems comply with applicable regulatory requirements, including DO-178C and DO-254.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Proficiency in systems engineering methodologies and tools, including SysML and DOORS.
  • Experience with avionics systems and familiarity with ARINC standards.
  • Knowledge of software development processes and tools, including DO-178C.
  • Understanding of hardware development and certification processes, including DO-254.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE).
  • Familiarity with flight control systems and cockpit display systems.
  • Experience in managing projects and leading technical teams.
