Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Structure Assembler to join our team at Summa Metal. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for drafting, assembling, and welding wrought metals to meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and symbols to ensure accurate fabrication
  • Draft and assemble metal structures using various welding techniques
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet project deadlines and quality expectations
  • Develop and maintain expertise in staircase and railing design, as well as architectural metal polishing
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in metal fabrication

Requirements

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience in metal fabrication, welding, and assembly
  • Excellent knowledge of trigonometry and geometry
  • Proficiency in English and French (spoken and written)
  • Spanish language skills an asset
