Job Summary

At Summa, we are seeking a skilled Metal Structure Assembler - Welder to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for drafting, assembling, and welding wrought metals. Your expertise in reading and interpreting welding blueprints, drawings, and symbols will be essential in ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting, assembly, and welding of wrought metals
  • Reading and interpreting welding blueprints, drawings, and symbols

Qualifications and Application Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of trigonometry and geometry, as well as expertise in staircase and railing design. Experience in manufacturing complex architectural metals, steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel welding, and architectural stainless-steel polishing is also required. A Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) or equivalent is preferred, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field is necessary. Fluency in English and French (spoken and written) is essential, with Spanish being an asset.
