Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Structure Assembler to join our team at Summa Metal. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for drafting, assembling, and welding wrought metals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and symbols
  • Draft and assemble metal structures using various materials
  • Perform welding operations to assemble and join metal components
  • Ensure high-quality finishes and meet project deadlines

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in metal fabrication and welding
  • Knowledge of trigonometry and geometry
  • Expertise in staircase and railing design
  • Experience with steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel welding
  • Experience with architectural stainless-steel polishing
  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) or equivalent
