Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer-in-Training 2 to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will assist in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and solutions for various projects. Your strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and commitment to delivering high-quality work will be essential in achieving our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop and implement mechanical designs and solutions.
  • Conduct site evaluations and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Participate in facility evaluations and assist in technical report writing.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of engineering solutions that meet the needs of our clients and contribute to the betterment of society.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) status with appropriate Provincial Association.
  • Working towards a P.Eng.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, energy analysis, equipment selection, and specification, fuel systems, high and low pressure piping, mechanical design details, plumbing, sustainable design, and storm and sewer design.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to represent the company to clients, consultants, and contractors.
