The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring seamless meal preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement menus that showcase culinary expertise and meet customer expectations
- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure dishes are prepared to high standards
- Kitchen Operations
- Manage kitchen inventory, including food, supplies, and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of kitchen operations and employee performance
- Team Management
- Lead and motivate kitchen staff to achieve exceptional results
- Cultivate a positive and productive team environment
- Food Safety and Quality
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and best practices
- Maintain high-quality standards in meal preparation and presentation
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Skills and Qualifications
- Proven track record of menu planning and execution
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Compensation
$65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
