Job Title: Dietitian II, Nutrition

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian II, Nutrition to join our team at BC Children's Hospital. As a key member of our nutrition team, you will be responsible for providing expert nutrition care to critically ill or injured children and youth from across British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments of patients using evidence-based standards and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans, including recommendations for nutrition support regimes and routes of feeding.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide education and support on nutrition-related topics.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in pediatric nutrition.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an academic program in dietetics approved by the College of Dietitians of British Columbia.
  • Three (3) years recent, related clinical experience in pediatric nutrition and nutrition support in an acute care setting.
  • Full registration in the College of Dietitians of British Columbia, with Restricted Activity A, B, C.
